City Rail Link, Britomart - Triton Cloud 50

An acoustic treatment was needed to control the reverberation and noise from the foot traffic of the newly built glass pavilion extension to the City Rail Link building at Auckland’s Britomart. Designed by Jasmax architects the glass extension serves as a temporary structure until a full redevelopment of the site takes place in a few years time. Asona’s Triton Cloud™ 50mm acoustic ceiling panels were selected in 1200 x 2400mm modules and mechanically fixed to the multi-vaulted ceiling. The panels were also treated with a silicon spray to resist moisture & condensation.
